Great, so you have wanted to do this for a while! Our purpose within our curriculums is not just to teach you how to express yourself at a local play, a school play, and community college type of activity. All our curriculums were created and developed with the knowledge that ICTalent' graduates need to be able to go out on film, TV, or commercial auditions and turn a good amount of those auditions into jobs.
If you are going to spend tuition money, it has to be an investment in yourself. Again, not everyone who applies gets accepted at ICTalent. Our competitive application process, including auditions, is necessary to maintain the quality of our students.
If you have the right looks, the right age range, and the right weight, you do not need modeling classes in order to start working as a model. If you belong to the extremely small amount of young people who qualify for all aspects of fashion modeling, including runway modeling, you may get signed by a modeling agency just by showing up at an open call - That however goes for the teen-agers: girls/5'.9 and up - boys/6'to maximum 6'2.
The children very often get a commercial and also have a print job attached to it. The agents will hardly sign up a child or a pre teen for print work only, as there isn't enough work in print by itself.
There is a lot more work in commercials with print jobs attached to the commercial. Children are to be fed lines if they cannot read yet, while readers are to be trained in cold reading. All children who speak well need on camera skills.
Again and unlike models who do well just by acquiring some still camera skills, an actor has to train in acting. No individual is such a natural that he or she does not need acting classes. Our courses help empower people by enabling them to create a bright future for themselves.
No. Again, ICTalent is neither a modeling agency nor an agency for actors. We are a private Post-Secondary school licensed by the State of California with a very selective process which gives applicants free and honest evaluations prior to accepting them into one or more of our programs. ICTalent is blessed with a talented faculty and student body. As a result, top LA agents frequently visit us because they trust our excellent classes, the judgment of our faculty and owner.
